November 6th-8th 2013: Centre for Research of Coastal Ecosystems and Tryp Hotel, Cayo Coco.
This International Conference on Biogeosciences intends to bring together planetary scientists, astrobiologists, evolutionary biologists and environmental scientists in general, in a friendly and collaborative environment.
The meeting is intended to focus on topics such as:
• Interactions between the main components of Earth-like planets (geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere and planetary astronomical neighborhood)
• Planetary habitability
• Emergence, evolution, distribution and destiny of life on Earth and the Universe
• Environmental sciences in general.
• Works presenting mathematical modeling of natural environments are especially welcome.
Call for abstracts
Abstracts Deadline: August 30th, 2013.
Provisionally, sent your application to rcardenas@uclv.edu.cu, specifying title, authors, institutions, abstract, kind of presentation (oral or poster), and e-mail. Please entitle your message as BioGeoSciences-2013.
Official languages: English and Spanish
The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and select those to be presented. Please indicate on the web-submission whether your contribution is intended for oral or poster presentation. Notice of acceptance or rejection will be made before September 30th, 2013.
Proceedings: Full papers to be published in International Journal of Astrobiology (Cambridge University Press), after peer-review process.
